Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Deliciously sweet, easy to make, moist chocolate chip banana bread recipe made in one bowl! The BEST banana bread recipe for breakfast or snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 7-8 (frozen and thawed) bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup melted butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 tsps pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tsps baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • chocolate chips and nuts, as desired

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°⁣
  • Mix all wet ingredients well in a Kitchenaid Mixer⁣ (you don’t need one, but it definitely makes things a lot easier)
  • Add 3 dry ingredients and blend well⁣
  • Add chocolate chips & nuts (fold in with a spatula)⁣
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of loaves⁣
  • Pour into greased loaf pans⁣
  • For gas ovens, bake 50 mins. For electric ovens, bake 55-60 mins. When you insert a toothpick in the middle of the loaf and it comes out clean, it is done.⁣

Notes

Note: Yes, you can make muffins instead. This recipe will make 30 muffins. Follow all the same instructions but bake for 30 mins instead.⁣ Put a teaspoon of rice into the bottom of the muffin tin before adding your paper or silicone liners to prevent soggy/oily bottoms.
